Director of Operations

A fast growing Renewable Energy business to recruit their Operations Director, which will oversee the efficient and effective delivery of services and production plants across the UK. This role involves managing engineering personnel, operating shifts, maintenance plans, site projects, contractor management, company-wide IT, and regulatory fulfilment. The Operations Director will sit on the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), providing strategic input and executing strategy into actionable plans. The role also includes maintaining agreed forecasts for P&L and ensuring adherence to regulatory reporting. The Operations Director will set and deliver standards, develop and implement processes, routines, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Some duties will include: Lead and manage engineering and production personnel, ensuring optimal performance and development. Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure plant reliability and efficiency. Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and ensure their successful execution. Set and deliver operational standards, ensuring high levels of performance and quality. Develop and implement processes and routines to enhance operational efficiency. Develop the operations annual forecast and P&L by site and product line. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for Operations. Shift development and implementation, site-based Project management and delivery, Operations Over head management.
